No. Technical advice is free for customers and anyone considering our products. If you’re unsure whether a product will suit your site, it’s always better to ask before you buy.
How do I get technical advice from Chatoyer?
Call us on 1300 880 623, email , or send us an enquiry through our contact page. Tell us what you’re containing or controlling, where the product will be used, and any site conditions we should know about. This helps us give you an accurate answer quickly.
How do I know if a product is compatible with the chemical I'm storing?
Chemical compatibility depends on the product’s material, the specific chemical, its concentration, temperature and how long it will be in contact. Send us the chemical name or its Safety Data Sheet (SDS). We’ll check it against the materials used in our products and recommend the most suitable option. If no standard material suits, we can look at alternatives.
How do I work out what size bund I need?
Bund capacity is usually based on the volume of the largest container and the total volume stored, plus rainfall if the bund is outdoors. Requirements vary by state and by the type of liquid, and guidance such as AS 1940 and your state EPA’s bunding guidelines may apply. Tell us what you’re storing and in what quantities, and we’ll help you calculate the capacity you need. For collapsible bunds, you can also use our Collapsible Bund Configurator.
Can you customise a product to suit my site?
Yes. Because we fabricate in Australia, we can adjust sizes, materials, connectors, colours and features to suit your application. We can also design a product from scratch when nothing standard fits. Tell us about the problem you’re trying to solve and we’ll suggest a solution.
